Hotel Victor is one of the most celebrated and revered of all Ocean Drive hotels. Originally opened in 1937, the origins of this Miami Beach Art Deco hotel date back to the work of famed French designer Jacques Garcia, an artist whose striking creation of the gorgeous Parisian hotel known as Hotel Costes gained renown for him overseas. In the decades since its original construction and completion, Hotel Victor has been witness to the numerous cultural and atmospheric shifts of South Beach. In the 1980s, construction of the south tower harbored a brand-new era of revitalization for the Miami Beach boardwalk, positioning Hotel Victor as one of the most desirable and sophisticated boutique resorts in the area.
