Who designed the space?
We tapped architect and restaurant designer Cooper Carry to design the space.
What makes the restaurant unique?
Nubb’s is special for many reasons, one being the restaurant seating and design. It lends itself to a relaxed coastal feel. Others reasons include providing a fun and engaging dining experience, seeing the live lobster tank, and the chefs behind the line cooking your food. Whether you are with family, friends, or just relaxing by the pool, you will find that perfect treat.
What are the standout menu items?
It goes without saying you have to try the lobster roll. The brown butter is the perfect blend of lobster, butter, and light spice notes. The lobster hushpuppies are a crowd favorite and great to share. A few other notables include the Butchers cut burger, the wings (a winner while watching that football game or playing pinball.) My favorite is the local, Lost Woods hot sauce.
Now that it is complete, what do you love most?
The entire feel of Nubb’s is very refreshing. It has that retro look in a new space with an authentic food and beverage experience. I still go back to the fact that the space lends itself to be a fit for family and friends. The retro pinball, air hockey, and shuffleboard, are all great ways to create new family memories as well as relive some of your past.
