Spotlight: on Georgia O’Keeffe’s Ghost Ranch

Georgia O’Keeffe remains one of the most prolific Southwestern painters of all time. The infamous New Mexico–based artist, who made her initial trip to Northern New Mexico in 1929, later took up residence at Ghost Ranch near Abiquiu. Now, guests and aspiring artists can visit the 21,000-acre, picturesque red rock ranch and choose from a series of more than 300 retreats and workshops such as metal arts, writing, jewelry-making, mixed media, textile arts, photography and Archeology, Geology, and Paleontology.
