What is check-in/check-out time?
We are ready to check guests in after 3 p.m. and ask that our guests kindly check out before Noon.
Do you allow smoking on property?
We allow smoking in Thompson Zihuatanejo’s outdoor public areas.
Do you allow pets?
It’s great to travel with friends, and we are proud to be a pet-friendly hotel, with a few considerations. One pet up to 50 lbs. may stay for an extra charge of USD 100 per pet, per stay. Restrictions apply.
How much do you charge for high speed/Wi-Fi Internet access?
Wi-Fi is complementary to our guests throughout the hotel, including access on the beach.
Do you have a fitness center? What kind of equipment does it have? What are the hours?
Yes. Our air-conditioned fitness center is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. 7 days a week. We offer Technogym Jog Forma and Synchro Forma, Peloton Bikes, Low Row, free weights, TRX machines. Yoga and Pilates are also available. To arrange for yoga sessions, please email us or contact the Spa: +52-755-555-5500.
I can’t go anywhere without my own music and entertainment — do I need to bring a speaker? Can I watch TV and movies?
You’ll find Bluetooth speakers and a radio setup in each of our guest rooms and suites, as well as flat-screen TVs with satellite programming service.
What activities do you have available when I just can’t relax on the beach anymore?
Onsite activities include water sports, yoga and an air-conditioned gym, cooking classes and daily programing.
For his cooking classes, our chef also guides guests on culinary tours to the local markets, an ideal activity for groups. Available upon request.
The Zihuatanejo coast has long been renowned for its world-class sport fishing — sail fish, marlin, yellowtail and mahi-mahi are abundant much of the year.
Just minutes away are two 18-hole golf courses by Robert Trent-Jones Jr. and Robert von Hagge.
We will also arrange for you to go snorkeling and scuba diving, windsurfing and horseback riding, and the Zihuatanejo village market is a popular destination, with an authentic fish market open on the beach in the early morning hours.
Do you have a business center?
We do not have a business center, however, our Front Desk team can be very resourceful in assisting your particular needs.
Do you have a pool?
We have three outdoor swimming pools. Two are reserved for adults only, and one is fantastic for families.
Do I need to bring towels and sunscreen with me for beach and pool time?
Not at all — we’ve got you covered with everything from towels and sunscreen to lounge chairs and palapas, food, drinks and even complimentary locally inspired treats throughout the day.
Do you have a spa?
Yes. We also offer in room massages and massages on the beach for ultra relaxation.
Do you have a fax number?
We no longer maintain a fax machine.
Do you have onsite parking? How much is parking? Is it included in my room rate?
We are happy to offer complementary valet parking, however please be aware space is limited.
